5.5 Email - How do I forward my email to another address?
There are two different methods in which to forward your email.
The first is a simple forward. Email is sent to and received by your
@simplybits.net email address. Upon receipt of the message it will be
processed by the Anti-Virus scanner and then the Spam Filter before it
is forwarded. When using this method a copy is kept in the Inbox of
your Simply Bits mailbox. If you choose to use this method be mindful
of your disk space. The more you store on it the less space you will
have available to you.
Login to your control
panel at https://mailhosting1.simplybits.net:8443
Click on the Mailbox icon in the Tools group;
Make sure that the Mailbox check box is
selected.
Without a mailbox, you will
not be able to apply anti-virus and spam filtering.
Click OK.
Click Redirect in the Tools group.
Select the Redirect check box.
Type the destination
e-mail address to which you would like to forward e-mail.
Click OK.
The second method processes the mail in the same manner as the first
method, but after the email is forwarded it is then deleted from your
Simply Bits email box.
On your Home page, click
Mailbox in
the Tools
group.
Make sure that the Mailbox check box is not
selected.
Click OK.
Click Redirect in the Tools group.
Select the Redirect check box.
Type the destination
e-mail address to which you would like to forward e-mail.
