5.11 Email - Email sent to an AOL or Compuserve address is rejected


Problem: Email sent to an AOL address (or an address owned by AOL such as Compuserve or wmconnect.com) is rejected with the error "Received:554-: (HVU:NR) This email is rejected for containing one or more URLs which do not follow RFC guidelines".

Cause: AOL has installed an aggressive filtering system ro reduce the amount of SPAM sent to their customers. Sometimes the filter will block legitimate email due to teh complexity of their filter.
